Paper Love Hearts

February 5th, 2010

It can’t get simpler than this. A paper heart for any occasion from Valentines Day to just a show everyday of love, this heart is sure to please the recipient.Age group: 9months +

What you need:

Paper (coloured or plain)

Tissue/crepe paper (tear and scrunch/roll into balls)

glue

glitter

What you do:

Cut out a paper heart shape.

Cover the whole shape in glue (a runny glue like PVA works best)

Stick balls of colored crepe/tissue paper onto the shape

Sprinkle glitter into any gaps between the paper balls.

This heart is so easy even your tiny ones can do it. If they are able to sit you can help by spreading the glue onto the shape and pre-preparing a bowl of ready made coloured paper balls. And they can stick away happily!
