Lego Duplo Product Review

May 15th, 2009

Here at ToddleBabes we recently had the pleasure of sampling some of the new Lego Duplo sets. We randomly selected a few of our readers and the generous folks at Lego Duplo sent out either the new Polar set or Police set to those lucky few.

The response from all the families has been fabulous and all agree that these wonderful toys should go onto a must buy list for your little ones. From the flashing lights on the police car with it’s exciting siren to the fun slide in the polar set for the penguins to whizz down, our children have not been disappointed.

Here is what some of our satisfied readers had to say:

“My children are thoroughly enjoying playing with all the bits, with the slide/chute being the favourite. My son is only one and he slides the penguin through the chute whilst saying “Wheee!” and growls when he sees the bears. My daughter ,three, has been making up stories with the bears and other characters and also has found many other imaginative uses for the pieces that make up the chute. We have made a variety of “scenes” with the pieces, even combining them with our other Duplo sets (yes, suddenly our farmer has a polar bear!). The variety of pieces allows us to be creative and my daughter loves that some of the blocks look like “ice”. She has had fun using the zoo keeper to feed fish to the animals.
All in all, it has fast become a favourite toy in our household and I look forward to collecting more fabulous sets. ” ~Carla, Victoria and Vaughan

“We have just received the free lego sample. It’s great! He absolutely loves it!!~Helen and Harry

“My kids are having a great time playing with their free Duplo..Thanks!!! ~Tracey, Tyler and Skye

“We got the Polar set too- They Love it!~ Julie, Andrew and Daniel
