On Sunday 27 September hundreds of people in Regent’s Park posed for a photograph to form the figure of 46,000, representing number of people diagnosed with breast cancer each year.

Dressed in pink, supporters then took part in Breast Cancer Campaign’s Pink Aerobics to mark the start of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month and raise awareness of the disease.

Selaine Saxby, Founder of Pink Aerobics and Proprietor of LessBounce.com said: “This year’s Pink Aerobics was the biggest yet, over 700 participants danced themselves fit in the park and we hope that many more regional events will take place to help raise money for breast cancer research!”

If you missed this unique event there are lots more regional Pink Aerobics events taking place across the UK throughout October.

If you’re a qualified instructor you could host your own Pink Aerobics event or turn a regular aerobics class pink. Arranging your own Pink Aerobics event costs just £25 and we encourage groups to raise £500 in sponsorship – get in touch now to receive your Pink information pack.

Pink Aerobics is supported by TV soap actress and work out presenter Charlie Brooks, she said: “Pink Aerobics is a fun way to get fit, stay in shape, improve your health and raise vital funds for breast cancer research. Support Breast Cancer Campaign by taking part in your local Pink Aerobics event during October, it’s the perfect way to get fit and help beat breast cancer.”
