Spring and Easter Rhymes
March 22nd, 2010
Some quick and cute rhymes to learn together.
I Saw a Little Bunny
I saw a little bunny
going hop, hop, hop.
I said, “Please, Mr. Bunny,
won’t you stop, stop, stop.”
He flapped his big, long ears
and had no word to say,
And before I could get near him
he had hop, hop, hopped away!
Easter Bunny Poop
The Easter Bunny came last night
And left this little scoop.
Because you weren’t too good this year,
You’re getting Bunny Poop!
Five Little Chickens
Five little chickens by the old barn door,
One saw a beetle, and then there were four.
Four little chickens under a tree,
One saw a cricket, and then there were three.
Three little chickens looked for something new,
One saw a grasshopper, and then there were two.
Two little chickens said, “Oh what fun!”
One saw a ladybug, then there was one.
One little chicken began to run,
For he saw a katydid, then there were none!
Daffodils
Fingerplay: Show fingers or make daffodil puppets from cupcake liners and craft sticks.
One little daffodil had nothing much to do,
Out popped another one, then there were two.
Two little daffodils were smiling at a bee,
Out popped another one, then there were three.
Three little daffodils were growing by the door,
Out popped another one, then there were four.
Four little daffodils were glad to be alive,
Out popped another one, then there were five.
Five little daffodils were wearing golden crowns,
They danced in the breeze in green satin gowns.
