For many parents, the idea of six weeks of summer holidays is terrifying. How will you keep your children amused and happy? What can you do to make sure they are entertained and busy? Well here are a few simple ideas to get you started!

A:  Aquariums, Art Gallery, Activity centres, Acting workshops/classes, Animal farms

B: The Beach, Baking, Bowling, Ballooning, Badmington, Boat rides

C: Camping, Climbing centres, Children’s centres have activity lists for all ages, Circus, Craft courses and clubs, Concerts, Carnivals, Caves, Cooking classes

D: Drama club workshops, Dance workshops, Drawing, Decorating (for an occasion or just making something for their rooms), Discovery centres,

E: Engines (there are many steam engine shows on in the summer), Exercise-make a daily routine with your child and make sure that you do it everyday.

F: Football courses, Farms, Fruit picking, Fishing, Fun fairs, Family functions

G: Go-carting, Mini Golf, Grandparents

H: Holiday clubs, Horse riding classes

I: Ice skating, Indoor play centres (for those rainy days),
