The adventures of Jingle, our Christmas elf, Day 3
Bright and early I hear a shout. “There’s toilet paper everywhere! It’s going down the stairs!” and then “Mom! Come see what Jingle did!”
Our elf, Jingle had hopped into a roll of festive toilet paper (yes, I like to have reminders of Christmas, ahem, everywhere!) and had rolled down the stairs. The children thought this was really funny, but were concerned about him having to stay there all day ..lol. Don’t worry..he got himself out when no one was looking and seated himself in the lounge.
As always Jingle left us a note. This time it reminded us to behave well and to try to be helpful today. I love how he is always reminding us to care about those around us. It is so important that in the frivolity and excitement of the Christmas build up that we remember why we celebrate and what it means to be “good”. Not just in the behaviour sense, but in character too.
I wonder what he’ll do tomorrow!?
