The Adventures of Jingle, our Christmas Elf, Day 1
It’s the first day of December and things are starting to get Christmassy over here. We arrived home from school to find that our Christmas elf, Jingle Glitterbottom had arrived for his annual December visit!
As we drove up to the house, my daughter spotted something hanging from the front door…
Look at the joy and excitement on their little faces!
When we got inside, this is what we found. (Note: no time for removing coats and hats..let’s find Jingle!)
Jingle was sitting on the sideboard, in the lounge. He had an advent candle and the TV remote. He communicates with us through writing in small Christmas cards. The note said he was happy to be back and that he had missed us. He instructed us to light the advent candle and to get cosy on the couch as he had arranged for us to watch “Elf” his favourite Christmas movie.
What a lovely way to spend a cold winter afternoon in December.
Pop back to see what elf he gets up to tomorrow. 🙂
