The Adventures of Jingle, Our Christmas Elf
Day 16
A letter to Santa
Jingle thought it about time we wrote our letter to Santa. So when we found him this morning he had writing sets for each child. Each set contains 2 sheets of paper, a pre-addressed envelope, a pencil with a Christmas eraser and a sheet of stickers.
As you can see it has already got the Dear Santa and the love from part of the letter printed on the sheet. I think this will really help my 4 and 6 year old boys to worry less about what they are writing and just focus on the list. One less tedious part to do for my busy bod boys! 😉
I guess when the children are home from school, we’ll get busy writing our letter to Santa. I always ask my children to follow this rhyme when they are thinking of their list.
“Something I want, Something I need, Something to wear , Something to read!”
It seems to help them focus and not just write a random list of “stuff”. It also means that Santa gets a better idea of what they want to most as it forces them to choose! Have you written your letter to Santa yet?
